Expect the worst in early days of Trump presidency

The early days of the Trump presidency sets the stage for the greatest clash of ideologies, cultures, values and interests since the turmoil of the sixties. Trump’s populism, anti-establishmentarianism, anti-political correctness, lack of diplomacy, policy perspectives, and personality represent the antithesis of everything the Left—liberals, progressives, democratic socialists, Democrats, and liberal Republicans—believes in. So the civil war begins. Whoever wins will determine America’s future path for generations. Trump’s win so shocked the Left that they feel compelled to take drastic action. Fearing the loss of all they believe in, the Left plans to (1) prevent Trump from achieving his goals through attempts to delegitimize his presidency, while discrediting him and his policies; (2) launch law suits and investigations, and otherwise halt, delay or impede his actions; (3) intimidate Trump into inaction through large protests, news media attacks—including fake news, public threats; and (4) culminate in impeachment.
