LINE Of Duty's Ted Hastings left fans 'roaring' after switching up his iconic catchphrase last night. The popular BBC crime drama continues to impress and the penultimate episode hosted yet another intense interrogation interview. Superintendent Hastings ( Adrian Dunbar ) is famous for his catchphrases on the show such as "Mother of God", "Sucking diesel" and "Jesus, Mary and Joseph." However he put a new spin on one of his popular lines during the show's longest interview scene yet. Hastings, along with DI Steve Arnott ( Martin Compston ) and Patricia Carmichael ( Anna Maxwell Martin ) questioned DCI Jo Davidson in a bid to find out more about the OCG, the identity of 'H' and Gail Vella's murderer. Scared her life would be in danger if she exposed some of the bent police officers involved, Jo replied "no comment" to many of the questions, which caused a frustrated Hastings to blurt out: "Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey can we just move this thing … [Read more...] about Ted Hastings leaves Line of Duty fans ‘roaring’ as he switches up iconic catchphrase in explosive interrogation
Michael Collins, the witty “forgotten” astronaut of NASA’s legendary Apollo 11 mission to the Moon, died of cancer on Wednesday, his family said. An icon of space exploration and an eloquent storyteller (who, arguably, had the best sense of humor among the Apollo 11 crew), Collins passionately advocated for further exploration of other worlds. Astronauts, NASA officials, and others in the space community who are heeding his advocacy mourned his death today. Collins was the Columbia command module pilot who stayed in orbit around the Moon in 1969 while his crew mates, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, descended to the lunar surface and became the first two humans to set foot on another world. Aldrin, now the only living Apollo 11 astronaut, mourned his fellow crewmate in a tweet. “Dear Mike,” Aldrin said, “Wherever you have been or will be, you will always have the Fire to Carry us deftly to new heights and to the future. We will miss you. May you Rest In Peace. #Apollo11” Dear … [Read more...] about Space community mourns the death of Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins

They have advertised that Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of India had used the pen for his use. They feel that he would have wanted to share the 23,000 dollar special edition Montblanc fountain pen that has been named in his honour. The Montblanc fountain pen is being offered around the world in 2009 with the entire country. Many Indian clients have already pre-ordered the pen. However the company representatives also accuses that India's youth are more likely to look up to Bill Gates rather than Gandhi. Some Gandhi loyalists, however, said India's founding father would have … [Read more...] about Mahatma Gandhi’s Montblanc Fountain Pen!
Thursday, FNC’s Tucker Carlson panned the glowing media reaction to President Joe Biden’s address to a joint session of Congress a night earlier. On the left side of the political spectrum, pundits sounded off on Biden’s delivery in very favorable terms, which Carlson mocked. Carlson also criticized the substance of the speech, which Biden repeated his claim that no constitutional amendment was absolute in reference to the Second Amendment. Transcript as follows: CARLSON: Joe Biden spoke to a Joint Session of the Congress last night. If you saw it, and relatively few people did judge by the numbers, then you know that the confusing part started even before the speech began. It was the masks again. Everyone was wearing a mask, very much including the two stern ladies sitting right behind Joe Biden. That would be the Speaker of the House and the real President. They were masked up, all of them were, like outlaws. But here’s the weird part: all of them have been … [Read more...] about Carlson Rips Media for Response to Presidential Address — Committed ‘a Series of Symbolic Sex Acts’ on Biden
