Kris Ferguson and his wife Marcia Ferguson-Roa always promised each other that if they lived to 80, they’d take their yacht out to sea and pull the plug. But Ferguson-Roa, 59, didn’t get to enjoy a final sail. The Australian woman died at Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital in December – a week after being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called dermatomyositis. It is a variation of myositis (inflammation of the muscles) that affects the skin. Ferguson-Roa never woke from a coma, and her family quietly brought her greyhound Matilda in via the hospital’s fire escape to say goodbye. Dermatomyositis (DM) is rare. Bolichie (left) and Top Suzara Back in their teenage years, cousins and music artists Top Suzara and Bolichie Suzara used to play in a band for fun—dabbling in 1960s rock ‘n’ roll and learning the ropes of songwriting and playing instruments as they went along. Last year, in one of Top’s visits to Bolichie’s home, the latter broached the idea of writing songs. Before they knew it, … [Read more...] about ‘Buffet of sounds’ marks Bolichie and Top Suzara’s long-awaited collaboration
