Migrant children separated from their parents through the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy experienced more severe mental trauma than children who were not separated, according to a government watchdog report. Separated children “exhibited more fear, feelings of abandonment, and post-traumatic stress” than children who were not separated, according to a report released Wednesday by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) inspector general. According to the report, some children did not understand why they were being separated and sometimes thought their parents had abandoned them. MOSCOW: Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service ( FAS ) said on Monday it had initiated proceedings against U.S. tech giant Alphabet Inc's Google for allegedly abusing its dominant market position in video hosting services. Google has already come under pressure from the authorities this year for failing to delete what Russia calls banned content. Other western internet companies have also been targeted by Moscow, including Twitter Inc , which has been punitively slowed down. Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The FAS said the case concerned Google's YouTube unit and that the company's actions had resulted in the sudden blocking and deletion of some users' accounts, which it said could lead to restricted competition. Google added AR characters from well-known Japanese pop culture franchises in its search function on mobile. You can now find Hello Kitty, Pac-Man , Gundam, Ultraman, Evangelion, and much more represented in their 3D form. A few of the characters, including Cogimyun, Hello Kitty, and Pompompurin, come with their own audio and can "talk." You'll need to be on mobile to use Google AR and view the 14 new characters. While in Google, search for a character's name and then tap on View in 3D. Android devices can access the AR search function in Google search and iOS devices need to go through the Google app. Android 7 Plus with ARCore enabled and iOS 11.0+ devices can view 3D and AR content. Non-profit organization PragerU, founded by radio host Dennis Prager to produce short informative videos on conservative topics, has been permanently banned from the Chinese-owned social media app TikTok for “multiple violations” of the platform’s community guidelines. According to PragerU, Silicon Valle has a “proven track record of silencing conservative voices and being against free speech,” and TikTok has joined a “competition for who can be the most woke.” PragerU told Breitbart News that it has reached out to TikTok several times to get more information and clarity on why its account was blacklisted but has yet to hear a response.
