When Facebook launched its Subscribe button on Wednesday, many were quick to note its implications for journalists, celebrities and other thought leaders. The new feature allows for users to follow public updates, and these are the people most often broadcasting their ideas. Yet there's more the average user can get on board with than meets the eye. The release came with a slew of additional features — including a more customizable News Feed and increased privacy — that users have been wanting for years. Here are some key points you should know based on what type of user you are: Super Users & Celebrities If you're kind of a big deal, you likely already have a Facebook fan page to update your followers on what … [Read more...] about Facebook Subscribe Button: What It Means for Each Type of User

‘No iPhone Lightning port would mean binning thousands of dollars of accessories’

If you thought people loved the iPhone's headphone jack, it has nothing on how fervent people are about the Lightning port. Reacting to continued reports that the 2021 (or possibly 2022 iPhone) will ship without a Lightning port , the majority of readers who got in touch with me to share their thoughts thought it was a bad idea. Popular now: Don't buy these Apple products: March 2021 edition At the time of writing, I'm still getting feedback, but here's a selection from the past 24 hours. "No iPhone Lightning port would mean binning thousands of dollars of accessories. My entire videography … [Read more...] about ‘No iPhone Lightning port would mean binning thousands of dollars of accessories’

They are particularly open to learning from this perspective, aware more than they ever imagined of the fragility of human life as they are surrounded by the harsh reality of death in the global pandemic. As their teacher, I want to bring in elders who can share their wisdom of how to live in the face of death. Biden’s stimulus package includes $1,400 direct payments to individuals earning $75,000 or less or $2,800 to married couples earning $150,000 or less. Parents will receive an additional $1,400 per child. It would also mandate a $15 federal minimum wage. (RELATED: Corporations That Support The $15 Minimum Wage Can Afford It.
