Chandigarh: Administration sets ball rolling for power dept privatisation
CHANDIGARH: After getting relief from the Supreme Court, the UT administration has resumed the sale of request for proposal (RFP) for UT electricity department privatisation.UT adviser Manoj Parida said, “The Supreme Court, on Tuesday, had vacated the Punjab and Haryana high court stay on the privatisation of the UT electricity department. Thereafter, a meeting was convened and discussions were held on the issue. It has been decided to restart the sale of tender documents, which was earlier stopped due to the high court order.
